Sweet Silver Shells Blanket

I completed the Sweet Shells blanket pattern by Mary Ann Frits from Make in a Weekend Afghans to Crochet by Leisure Arts. It was an easy to remember pattern that made a lovely blanket. I used Loops & Threads Shiny in Grey and it took three skeins to complete a throw sized blanket. I had originally planned to use four skeins to match the pattern (which asked for Red Heart Soft) but the blanket was already a good length at the end of the third skein.

This was made for my friend J for her birthday in March but I haven’t been able to give it to her yet.
